On 30 September, we had the pleasure of hosting our HyHeat Showroom event at our headquarters in Simmerath, in collaboration with the Helmholtz Cluster for a Sustainable and Infrastructure-Compatible Hydrogen Economy (HC-H₂) and Forschungszentrum Jülich, and of welcoming numerous guests from the worlds of business, science and politics.
The focus was on the presentation of the HyHeat pilot plant. At the heart of the plant are the innovative, fuel-flexible burners developed by our subsidiary Econova. They enable a fully adaptive switch between different fuel gases and hydrogen – initial tests with hydrogen have already been successful.
This marks an important step towards more climate-friendly industrial heat treatment.
